Ever wondered about the origin of our name, WherryGo?
It’s a reflection of our core values and mission. We wanted a name that encapsulated the spirit of exploration (the “Go” part), and make it memorable by sounding like a shortened version of “Where do you go?”
And, we also wanted to connect it to travel in a unique way. “Wherry” refers to a small rowboat or sailboat traditionally used for river travel, symbolising the journey and adventure that awaits you when you choose WherryGo as your travel companion. So, when you embark on a WherryGo adventure, you’re not just travelling; you’re setting sail on a memorable exploration.
We’re Shyama and Midhun, the co-founders of WherryGo and lifelong partners. Our extensive travels have taken us to over 40 destinations across India and around the world, including living in vibrant tourist hubs like Singapore and the UAE.
Our travels haven’t just been about exploration; they’ve also included hosting our cherished family & friends on numerous excursions.
